Method:

Redesign the optical path using optical integration technology to maximize the efficiency of the link, and work in conjunction with circuits and GPU chips through the conversion of optical and electrical signals to achieve optimization of computing power, power consumption, and cost.

Samba Labs' Objectives:

1. Increase the computing power of existing equipment more than 10% through the comprehensive effect resulting from the reduction of channel latency.

 

2. Unchanged power consumption: The optimization of the optical path will not increase power consumption.

 

3. Unchanged infrastructure: All these improvements are to be made without altering the existing customer infrastructure.

 

Product Implementation:

1. All-in-One Lens System: For interconnecting optical fibers in the 850, 1310, and 1550 wavelength bands to increase transmission distances from 50 meters to 150 meters, solving the bottleneck of transmission distances in optical fibers.

 

2. Select the appropriate optical path channel: Improve signal error rates, reduce channel latency, expand fault tolerance, ensure assembly efficiency, and achieve long-term output stability.

 

3. Utilization of polarization: Stokes vector modulation and demodulation techniques opens a new dimension for putting data per symbol to greatly enhance symbol efficiency and increase the data throughput.

 

4. O/E Cable: A plug-and-play Active Optical Cable (AOC) to meet the required technical specifications.
